From La Salvetat, take the D905 towards Carmaux.2 km after Mirandol, turn left on the D53, then right on the D129 towards Ste Gemme. Go through the village and follow the narrow road downhill. Just after the junction park on the D78 at the foot of the dam.

From the parking place, go back up the road for 200m, then take the marked path on the right. When you get to the stone bridge, cross it and bear right. At the parking place, take another right along the narrow pathway closest to the lake. Follow this path until you get to the road which will take you back to your car.
