From the centre ofLa Salvetat, take the D905 towards Carmaux for 200m then fork left towards La Rode and Tayrac (6km). Park at the cemetery 300m before Tayrac.

Walk into Tayrac as far as the church then take the road on the left towards Crozes/Camalet. After a long descent, follow this road back up and just before Druhle take an unmarked road to the left to Linieyroux. Walk round the village then follow the road towards Pradinas and take the first left towards La Rode/Marguil. Whan you get to La Rode, go left behind the houses to the junction then take the road opposite marked La Salvetat/St Jean. Follow this for 200m (quite steep descent) to St Jean, then turn left towards Tayrac (long but gentle climb).
